All are invited to join us on January 19, 2020 at Wisner Park in downtown Elmira to participate in the second annual Women's March Elmira. We are bringing together the people of the Twin Tiers to inspire action for positive change in women's lives.
Starting at 1:00 p.m., listen to a series of short, powerful speeches by women on topics ranging from workers’ rights to environmental justice.
At 2:00 p.m., walk with us to Elmira College, one of the first colleges in the nation to offer degrees to women that were comparable to those given to men. This year, a shuttle bus will be available for transportation to and from the college.

Who Are Al-Anon Members?
Al-Anon members are people, just like you, who are worried about someone with a drinking problem.
Many who come to Al-Anon are in despair, feeling hopeless, unable to believe that things can ever change. We want our lives to be different, but nothing we have done has brought about change. We all come to Al-Anon because we want and need help.
In Al-Anon, members share their own experience, strength, and hope with each other. You will meet others who share your feelings and frustrations, if not your exact situation. We come together to learn a better way of life, to find happiness whether the alcoholic is still drinking or not.
